Prof. Gaetane Schaeken holds a PhD in European Financial Law (UCL + Columbia University) and an LLM in International Commercial Law (University of Michigan, Ann Arbor School of Law). She spent 10 years working as a legal advisor at Belgian and English law firms and as advisor to the Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance. She is currently Secretary General of the of Estari Group, a growth equity investor providing capital and support to companies which aim to solve the world’s most pressing sustainability issues.
