Ms. Thalsa-Thiziri Mekaouche is currently completing her Bachelor’s degree at Yale University where she is a Human Rights Scholar focusing on the effects of climate change on human rights. Her primary interests focus on sustainable food systems, particularly in North Africa and the Middle East. She is currently doing research on Amazigh indigenous governance in the High Atlas Mountains (Morocco) and the challenges of water scarcity in the Mediterranean region.
