Adv. Douglas Leys KC is former General Counsel of the Green Climate Fund, earlier serving as the Government of Jamaica’s Solicitor General. Adv. Leys holds a wealth of experience in legal affairs, including tenure as General Counsel of the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB). He holds the rank of Queen’s Counsel, a position reserved for persons who have distinguished themselves at the bar in the Commonwealth. Adv. Leys’ broad experience in commercial law includes acting as the CDB lead advisor in providing legal assistance to Dominica and Grenada in restructuring their international and regional debt obligations.
