Fiona Traynor-Bucknall, MA, BBS (Dublin) is CISDL Senior Financial Advisor, a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Consultant with over 25 years of experience. She serves on the boards of schools and other educational charities, and has rich experience in finance function roles driving finance system and financial reporting optimisation, also management consultancy, where she operated across the globe in diverse organisations, including Reuters, Unilever, Credit Suisse, Standard Chartered Bank, Nokia, Cable & Wireless, Virgin and Avis driving change, including first as Principal and then as Director at KPMG Advisory and PWC.
Alongside, she also has a rich appreciation in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 Quality Education and 17 Partnership, including having served as Chair of the Local Academy Committee for the Cardinal Newman Catholic School, and link governor for Teaching & Learning, Catholic Life, Pupil Premium and Leadership.
She holds a degree in Economics and Business from Trinity College Dublin, a chartered accountancy qualification with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, also an MA, a Graduate Diploma in IT (first place), a tax qualification with the Taxation Institute in Ireland and a tax consultancy qualification with the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
